A Shot in the Dark  February 26 - March 24 Lakewood Arts Gallery First Friday / Award Announcement: March 3, 6:30 PM Gallery Hours: Wednesday - Sunday, Noon - 5 PM; Friday Noon - 9 PM In conjunction with Month of Photography Denver, Lakewood Arts is hosting a juried, night photography exhibition, “A Shot In the Dark” featuring low-light images of all genres. The exhibit will be in-person as well as online at lakewoodarts.org. About the Juror: Gary Reed has been living in the photographic and fine art printing world since 1986 primarily in production, sales and as a consultant. After majoring in photojournalism and editorial photography at The Art Institute of Colorado, Gary shot commercially for several years. He was General Manager at Reed Art & Imaging, a fine art printing lab for over 32 years. Currently, he shows his work in various galleries, shops and art fairs along the front range. Being an active participant in the community is important to Gary, who is currently a Board Member of The 40West Arts District and has served on the boards of Denver’s Art District on Santa Fe and the Colorado Photographic Arts Center.
