The photography of Bill Adams, Denver photographer and University of Colorado Denver photography faculty member, is on display in the Emmanuel Gallery on the Auraria Campus from January 26th – March 19th.

Bill’s unique work can be described as large, humorous color photographs and photo-collages of elaborately staged scenes in which the artist plays numerous different characters. Each finished image represents several years of work and multiple rounds of shooting. Bill’s photographs put into focus the interplay between the viewer and the subject and asks the viewer to consider whose gaze is in control. One Man Show is a mid-career survey of the artist’s work.
