Opening Reception: Brenda Biondo, Angela Faris Belt and Gwen Laine Thursday, March 16, 2023 5 - 8 pm Michael Warren Contemporary    Please join us for the opening of three concurrent shows at the gallery: "Sun to Earth" by Brenda Biondo; "Among the Stars" by Angela Faris Belt and "Trade Winds" by Gwen Laine. We are thrilled to present new, innovative work by three artists who are all pushing the boundaries of how to produce their images. In “Sun to Earth,” Brenda Biondo employs a variety of approaches to investigate how atmospheric light colors our world and influences our interaction with nature. In "Among the Stars" Angela Faris Belt explores the infinite by adding the scans of the ashes from loss with open source NASA and other satellite images. In "Trade Winds" Gwen Laine continues her series "of Light and Wind" to explore how wind and light affect the reflective surface of water.
