Whether rooted in science or steeped in magic, the upcoming exhibition “Sufficiently Advanced” explores the transformative power of innovation and imagination as seen through a new lens. Presented as part of Denver’s Month of Photography, the show features work by two celebrated artists, Jay Gould and Carol Golemboski, who use photographic storytelling to break down complex topics. Inspired by Arthur C. Clarke's Third Law - “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic” - the exhibit presents two artists using analog photographic processes to bridge our relationship to magic and science. Sufficiently Advanced opens on March 27th with a reception from 6-9 pm, and will be on view through April 20th.
