The reviews are not juried, but all participants should be serious about photography and able to present a solid body of work. All emerging, mid-career, and established photographers are welcome. For more information, please learn more about our reviewers and read our comprehensive guide, How to Prepare for Month of Photography Portfolio Reviews.
Registration opens November 8, 2022 for CPAC members, and November 15, 2022 for the public. Want to become a CPAC member to take advantage of this important benefit? Join here. Registration closes for everyone on January 20, 2023.
Reviews will take place March 17 – 18, 2023.
The 2023 reviews will take place in-person at The Curtis Hotel.
Each review is 20 minutes long.
During MOP 2023, reviews can be purchased in sets of 6, 8, or 12. Whether the reviews take place on one day or over two during the event is decided by registration. Typically the maximum number of reviews you could attend in one day is 6.
The registration fees are $312 (6 reviews), $416 (8 reviews) and $624 (12 reviews).
Cancellations before February 1, 2023 will be given refunds minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations after February 1, 2023 will not be eligible for refunds.
Once registrations are filled, we will begin a waiting list. If you would like to be added to the wait list, please email reviews@denvermop.org. If an opportunity to register opens up we will contact the first person on the waiting list. If accepted within 24 hours, we will then send you a payment link. If we do not receive a response within 24 hours we will then offer the spot to the next person on the list.
To maintain the health and safety of the MOP Portfolio Reviews, we ask that participants, including photographers, reviewers, and volunteers, be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Masks will be available at The Curtis Hotel for those who need them, and hand sanitizer will be available in higher-traffic areas of the hotel.
CPAC continues to monitor the health and safety protocols issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and will provide any important updates to participants if the response to COVID-19 changes.
