  Enjoy a stunning display of photography that will be digitally projected on the Daniels & Fisher Tower every evening during the 2027 Month of Photography Festival! This exciting outdoor exhibition will feature a rotating display of contemporary photography by artists from Colorado and across the U.S. Curator: Samantha Johnston, Executive Director & Curator at the Colorado Photographic Arts Center Special thanks to The Denver Theatre District and Night Lights Denver for making this exhibition possible and supporting the 2027 Month of Photography Denver festival. *Please note Daylight Savings Time may affect start time.

Over two days, 30 influential leaders in the local and national photography community will gather to review portfolios at The Slate Hotel in downtown Denver. Registered photographers will meet one-on-one with some of the most important people in the field of photography, including museum curators, gallery owners, directors of non-profit organizations, editors, collectors, and other professionals. Organized by the Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC). Registration will open closer to the 2027 festival.

Photography Showcase & Book Fair Friday, March 12, 2027 | 6–8 PM The Studio Loft at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, Denver

Join us for an evening celebrating photography, conversation, and community at the Month of Photography Showcase & Book Fair. This one-night-only event invites artists, festival guests, collectors, and the public to explore the work of more than 70 photographers participating in the Month of Photography Portfolio Reviews. Meet local and national artists, discover new talent, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where you can view a wide range of photographic work. Many participating artists will have prints available for purchase, with 100% of sales going directly to the artists. The evening also features a photography book fair with publishers, self-publishers, and distributors offering a curated selection of photobooks to browse and purchase. Whether you're an avid collector, a photography enthusiast, or simply looking for an inspiring night out, this event offers a unique opportunity to experience contemporary photography and connect with the artists behind the work.

Big Picture Colorado 2027-29 Season Wheatpaste Launch Party Sunday March 14th , 2027 2 pm – 5 pm The Temple Artist Haven 24th and Curtis Denver CO

In celebration of Month of Photography Denver, please join us for The Big Picture Wheatpaste Launch Party! Come learn the art of street art wheatpasting and celebrate the launch of our new 2027-29 season. All ages welcome. Please wear work clothes. Wheatpaste does easily wash out. All tools, paste, images, and water clean up are provided. We will paste a few selections of accepted work. Remember two years.
