Month of Photography Portfolio Reviews will take place in March 2025 (Date TBA). Working in four-hour shifts, Portfolio Review volunteers help keep our event running smoothly by keeping time, greeting photographers at the check-in table, answering questions, and other tasks as needed. If you’ve never participated in professional reviews but would like to in the future, this is a great opportunity to learn about the event before you make a commitment.
We need 2-3 photographers who can help us document key events throughout the festival, such as Portfolio Reviews, exhibition openings, and other events. We also welcome video footage of festival highlights for documentation and promotion purposes.
Event volunteers assist in a number of ways, from greeting visitors to tracking attendance, managing refreshments, monitoring the gallery, and helping to break down equipment after events. Volunteers will be needed at a number of events throughout the festival, such as exhibition openings and the Portfolio Walk.
Social media is our favorite way to share the festival experience from Denver, Colorado. We’re looking for 2-3 people with proven social media skills who can help show festival followers what a great time they can have at MOP Denver. You’ll cover our lectures, exhibition openings, free events, and more!
We need help preparing materials for exhibitions, including wall labels, caption sheets, and more. We’re looking for assistance with at least two exhibitions. Additionally, we will need to deliver promotional materials like the printed festival guide to venues around town.
